Their first ride.

Incredibly versatile and surprisingly light!

An incredibly versatile ski for both piste and backcountry skiing, as well as having fun on the edges of the piste. A surprising pair of skis for their lightness and comfort.

A Swiss knife with a sick pop! It's pretty simple to explain, the recreation skis are all-rounders.

Tested in all types of snow, they are playful and precise. The pair is light and has good flex. In the powder, it's awesome, 100mm underfoot might seem not enough but the big rocker really does the job. On the slopes, it's insane, it carves, it's incisive. If you have a ski trip planned and can only take one pair, take these! The object itself is beautiful and the team behind Simply are passionate, a ski has never so well lived up to its name, they are real toys for adults. Pure shred, nothing more, nothing less, anyone can ski the recreation, but it remains a demanding ski, good technique and a creative side will allow you to maximize their potential. To conclude: go for it and order your pair!

Very good pop and very stable in the air, these skis are really reassuring to go all the way through rough terrain and incredibly aggressive to carve on the piste, they only make you want to attack.

The first model of the brand Simply, very light Swiss-made skis with a very flexible flex, their beveled shape at the front as well as the tailcoat at the back brings a unique style coupled with very playful and reactive behaviours. You feel so good in the curves that you can put back on the support and close the radius at the end of the curve, the feeling is crazy! You are looking for a ski for every day and the whole mountain, GO FOR IT!! Congratulations to the Simply team for these nuggets and thank you for your trust during the test!

Really top ski in all types of snow. Really playful, a feeling reached from the first turns. Super light. On the slope, it is super easy and turns too well. The only downside is the price which is a bit steep, but it's worth it.

The ride felt very comfortable, the skis are dynamic, agile and very light.

I had an opportunity to test the Carver during the Pop-Up test in Verbier. There were several brands at the spot offering ski tests for their models, however I decided to try Simply Carver skis first because of their unique and very attractive design - classic, elegant and stylish appearance. The conditions were not perfect that day, yet the turns were awesome, it felt very accurate and easy. Great speed and control and comfort at the same time. Tried a bit of freeride, although l the model is primarily made for slopes, it felt pretty well! I initially thought the test would last for only one or two descents, however it lasted for almost 2 hours, it wasn’t even necessary to try any other brand/models that day. Awesome skis, they bought me so I had to buy them!

I don't think I've ever tried such an easy-to-handle ski. After one run, I feel super comfortable and just want to keep going.

At first impression, the ski is ultra-light and super flexible. It almost scares me, being more used to skiing with heavy skis. After two turns, wow, it's fun: it turns easily, it's playful, still, a little surprised by the weight. Then I put it gently on the edge, I feel that it is stable, that it holds. I gently shorten the radius and again, it holds. I can hardly believe it. The ski takes the turns so easily that it feels so instinctive. I don't think I've ever tried such an easy-to-handle ski. After one run, I feel super comfortable and just want to keep going. Pure fun! Little Ollie here and there between two big curves, I'm amazed by the versatility and seriousness of what looked like a toy when I put them on. Congrats team, it works really well, a real bomb, I would love to be able to test other models or even this wonder in fresh powder. Thank you for the opportunity.

A very playful and versatile ski that can carve and attack the slopes or shred the side hits.

I really appreciated its maneuverability on different terrains and its flex that gives it a very nice pop. Its lightness will surely be appreciated if set up for touring. For my part, I am looking forward to testing it in the park.

These skis are just amazing, a real gem for carving,

It's truly impressive to see how it's possible to tilt with the skis and how easily they allow carving. Already looking forward to trying the Recreation ones next week in Avoriaz.

The ski glides on the edge with finesse and fluidity, not easy to describe but delightful to feel.

At first glance, the Simply ski has an original but understated design and impeccable craftsmanship. From the top sheet to the base and edges, everything is well-finished from tip to tail. The mounting point is slightly forward but not centered. Once on the skis, you feel comfortable immediately. They're light and easy to control, and you quickly get into the game. The position on the ski is quite forward, so you would expect it to behave like a freestyle ski, but there's a surprise: the ski has excellent carving ability with a smooth and dynamic edge-to-edge transition. You take real pleasure in carving turns, angling, and transitioning from one turn to the next while playing with the ski's pop to exit one turn and enter the next by varying the tongue/heel pressure. With excellent pivot, the transition from carved to skidded turns is effortless. You can cut, glide, and slash in front or switch, and the ski's playful character is fully expressed on the piste. You don't need to be a freestyle expert to have fun, even die-hard groomer skiers will enjoy it. This is the ski to have under your feet when you're out with snowboarding friends who shred everywhere without seeking speed. Also worth mentioning is the pleasant "snow feel" - the ski glides on the edge with finesse and fluidity, not easy to describe but delightful to feel. I'm not a park enthusiast, so I don't have an opinion on that aspect, and I haven't had the opportunity to try it in powder. The snow on the day of testing was soft, spring-like, and there was nothing to complain about regarding grip, and no vibration to report. I imagine it might feel less secure on icy conditions, but that's not its purpose, it's not a slalom ski (although it could be...). I was able to try two sizes (170 and 180), and both have their merits. The 170 favors playfulness and maneuverability, while the 180 provides more stability for greater engagement and lift, depending on your intended use. In summary, Simply's innovative and explosive ski toy breaks the mold by blending carving and freestyle. It's designed for pleasure rather than performance, and the ski lives up to its marketing, it's a real playground. My only regret is not discovering it earlier in the season. Simply is a brand to watch, bravo!

Playful, responsive, and easy to unload.

I find that the ski really allows you to grip in turns, whether you're being patient or demanding. And it's easy to unload. I really like the rebound at the end of the turn that gives the impression of accelerating.

I had a good time, and although I wasn't completely won over by the ski (at least for my own skiing style), I appreciate the opportunity to try them out.

I had the chance to test a pair of Simply skis. I immediately loved the design and the lines that offer a refreshing change from what is currently available on the market. I consider myself an experienced skier. Part of my family is from Chamonix, and I go there relatively often, although I haven't been skiing as much in the past 15 years (around 6-7 days per year on average). My current skis are Salomon QST 106 in 181 length. My previous pairs were the Salomon Rocker 100 and Rocker 122, and the Pocket Rocket. I used to do a bit of freestyle when I was younger, but nowadays I mainly ski in resorts and do a bit of easy touring. Someone described the ski as playful, fun, and better suited for spring snow conditions. However, I found the ski to be quite demanding, especially considering the description I had been given. I felt that I couldn't really relax and ski in a "chill" or laid-back style, especially on groomed runs or other times when you want to let yourself go. When I pushed the ski hard, I had a lot of fun, but the turns tended to be quite tight and I even lifted my inside foot "old-school" style on every turn (which I don't do with other skis). I also struggled to make large, sweeping turns. In any case, I thought I would fit perfectly with the ski's description (playful, fun, flexible, etc... A type of ski for goofing off on the side of the piste), but I realized that wasn't the case for me. Perhaps my weight distribution was off, or the ski is not my type. Nevertheless, I had a good time, and although I wasn't completely won over by the ski (at least for my own skiing style), I appreciate the opportunity to try them out.
