UV Printed topsheet

A minimalist design with transparency reduces the amount of ink used and provides a timeless appearance to the ski. The graphics are directly printed under the top sheet, ensuring durability. All printing processes are free from toxic solvents for better working conditions.

Base & Edges

The base of our ski is made of high-density polyethylene (sintered PE-UHWD), ensuring excellent glide performance and ease of maintenance. Additionally, our wider edges allow for more frequent sharpening, enhancing overall durability.

Next Core

Next Core© technology combines oriented high-density wooden stingers and lightweight wood. This fusion of materials breaks the boundaries between lightness and skiability, delivering exceptional reactivity, stability, and carving capabilities.

Cork Spatula

In place of plastic (ABS), cork-filled spatula made from recycled wine stoppers are used in the nose. Besides being a more durable choice, this alternative reduces weight and effectively dampens vibrations.

The ride felt very comfortable, the skis are dynamic, agile and very light.

I had an opportunity to test the Carver during the Pop-Up test in Verbier. There were several brands at the spot offering ski tests for their models, however I decided to try Simply Carver skis first because of their unique and very attractive design - classic, elegant and stylish appearance. The conditions were not perfect that day, yet the turns were awesome, it felt very accurate and easy. Great speed and control and comfort at the same time. Tried a bit of freeride, although l the model is primarily made for slopes, it felt pretty well! I initially thought the test would last for only one or two descents, however it lasted for almost 2 hours, it wasn’t even necessary to try any other brand/models that day. Awesome skis, they bought me so I had to buy them!

The carver is playful, easy to ski, less tiring, light on the feet, and easy to turn.

It still provides good pop if you push it (thanks to the NextCore), and it's agile. I really enjoyed the combination of its lightweight, ease of skiing, and sporty feel, making it less tiring.

It felt like floating—almost like I was gliding over the piste in big carved turns.

I tested the Carver on groomed runs (soft snow) with a light 5cm layer of fresh powder. At moderate speeds, the ski performs beautifully: great edge grip, smooth and precise turn initiation—a real pleasure, soft and effortless.

However, when I tried pushing it harder (over 70–80km/h), I felt less secure. In my opinion, the skis lack the stiffness needed to handle high speeds effectively (my reference point is another Swiss brand known for their extremely dynamic skis with exemplary responsiveness).

For my style of skiing, these Carvers are fantastic for relaxed cruising, but a bit less suited for really aggressive riding.

The Carver engages into a turn nicely and are straightforward to disengage too

There were a few moguls this late in the day on the piste, so conditions weren't ideal for carving at this time. However, I found that they engage into a turn nicely, they are straightforward to disengage too. Great grip. I think they are comparable to the Black Crows mirus cor, but I feel this ski is significantly better off-piste, easier to slash/whip, and better pop. However, I feel that the "bounce out" of the turn is more limited, it doesn't react as powerfully as I have experienced with a few other skis. (Although, this could have just been my tired start of season legs) Weirdly I must emphasize the performance off-piste. I was surprised by how good they felt here! I was excited to test the Recreation too.

It’s the pair of skis I’m missing.

Out of all the carving skis I tried over the weekend, these are the ones I felt the best on. They carve well, are playful, and more maneuverable than the competition for the same carving experience.

Full transparency, I've never been a fan of carving - but this is something else.

Never ever have I thought I would consider buying a carver. But a few runs convinced me! Really fun to focus on curves and enjoy mellow runs and demanding ones. No matter the type of snow (or ice in my case) it's holding all the way through!

Frequently Asked Questions

We are selling POMOCA skins which are pre-cut based on the model purchased – but you can use your own as well. We recommend cutting your skins for ski touring to use their full potential and for security reasons as well. Before heading out, we recommend checking the tail and nose fixing to be sure it fits correctly.

Sometimes Size matters (only sometimes though)
There is no perfect formula here. It pretty comes down to your style, what you want to ride and how you want to do it. But here is what we would recommend you based on your height and weight.

We have marked the optimal mounting position directly on the skis. We highly and only recommend mounting your skis using these marks.

No concerns at all! Laurent and everyone else in the club have skied all season long and never have they faced any issues. We also added reinforcement on both parts of the fish tail so you can leave your skis on any surface and don’t have to worry.

All the slopes are your playground. No matter the conditions and terrain. Trace your own curves and have fun doing it.

You can put any binding you want on the carver. From touring bindings to classic ski bindings, the choice is yours. We would recommend free touring over classic alpine bindings.

Everyone has their preferred brands or types of bindings, so please keep in mind that the following are just our recommendations and setups—many other brands and products could suit your needs.

First, consider what type of riding you’ll be doing. Will it be primarily on alpine/groomers, or will you also be doing some touring? If touring is part of your plan, how important are weight optimization and reliability to you? What kind of boots do you use? Answering this will narrow down the choices and help you find your perfect setup.

For alpine/slopes, our go-to bindings are the Marker Griffon 13 or Marker Jester 16. However, if you’re looking to combine alpine skiing with touring, the Salomon Shifts offer a great lightweight, multi-functional setup.
