There is no perfect formula here. It pretty comes down to your style, what you want to ride and how you want to ride it. Click on the ski size of your choice on the right to show the corresponding height and weight ranges.

What we would recommend you based on your height and weight if you are in between two sizes – aim for the bigger size if you want stable skis. If you prefer super reactive skis, the smaller size would be better.

A visually impressive first impression, with well-crafted and clean production... the ski is aesthetically pleasing! A premium and durable sole and edge quality!

Once on the snow, the skis are forgiving and relatively easy to approach, both technically and physically. The flexible shovel that deforms well when flexed, and the very progressive tail immediately gives the playful character of the Recreation!

Underfoot, the stronger base returns a surprising and really fun pop, very playful in side hits.

On the piste, the ski carves short and "wraps" in an intuitive way, rather stable even when letting it go in big curves, a very healthy attitude. A real hybrid freecarve/freestyle compromise... easy peezy!

So light and maneuverable

I had so much fun riding your skis. I usually ski with Faction Prodigy, and I found that yours really inspire confidence—and I’m not exactly known for being daring! Honestly, I felt like I skied better with the Simply Recreation than with my Prodigy, thanks to how light and maneuverable they are.

The ski is very responsive, dynamic and intuitive. It is easy to handle and can be suitable for both beginners and experts.

On the slopes, it is perfect for big carving and having fun. In powder, its interesting sidecut allows it to pivot easily on steep terrain and the front rocker also allows it to float in deeper snow. On mixed terrain, it loses some of its magnanimity but remains solid. One of the only negative points, in my opinion, is its flexibility. At high speeds, the ski vibrates a bit and due to the two rockers, the surface of the ski's tip in contact with the snow is reduced, which leads to a loss of stability and confidence in the ski. But overall, this ski is a small package of happiness! When you ride it, you immediately feel that you're going to have a good time :)

Its short radius and its pop give it a very playful dynamism that allows you to play with side hits and slashers while attacking full mode on the piste!

A real Swiss knife - so easy to handle. In powder (30cm~ during the test). The ski felt super natural and has an amazing lift for the 100mm underfoot, very pleasantly surprised!

Everything you do with it is just pure fun! It's easy to handle, playful, and responsive. You can cruise or carve like crazy with it!

This ski is something else. I don't have much experience in ski testing, and I don't really have the ability to feel technical details like someone who has skied dozens of skis in their life. But it was a blast. The "Recreation" title was really emphasized! Maybe not as versatile as I imagined, in powder for example, but that may also be because I don't have an extreme level of skiing. Overall, it was a great ride.

A Swiss knife with a sick pop! It's pretty simple to explain, the recreation skis are all-rounders.

Tested in all types of snow, they are playful and precise. The pair is light and has good flex. In the powder, it's awesome, 100mm underfoot might seem not enough but the big rocker really does the job. On the slopes, it's insane, it carves, it's incisive. If you have a ski trip planned and can only take one pair, take these! The object itself is beautiful and the team behind Simply are passionate, a ski has never so well lived up to its name, they are real toys for adults. Pure shred, nothing more, nothing less, anyone can ski the recreation, but it remains a demanding ski, good technique and a creative side will allow you to maximize their potential. FAQs

You can – and you should. It works perfectly not matter if you ride slopes or park. In deeper snow, it might become trickier if you don’t know what you’re doing. But this is the same no matter the skis.

We are selling POMOCA skins which are pre-cut based on the model purchased – but you can use your own as well. We recommend cutting your skins for ski touring to use their full potential and for security reasons as well. Before heading out, we recommend checking the tail and nose fixing to be sure it fits correctly.

The Recreation is a solid and stable ski, and light at the same time. It’s a perfect tool to go touring and ski some good stuff on the way down. Any touring bindings can be mounted. No worries about the fish tail, it has been adapted to mount skins too. Before heading out for a session, we suggest you to first try your setup at home as you might need cut your skins for optimal results.

There is no perfect formula here. It pretty comes down to your style, what you want to ride and how you want to do it. But here is what we would recommend you based on your height and weight.

We have marked the optimal mounting position directly on the skis. We highly and only recommend mounting your skis using these marks.

No concerns at all! Laurent and everyone else in the club have skied all season long and never have they faced any issues. We also added reinforcement on both parts of the fish tail so you can leave your skis on any surface and don’t have to worry.

We designed the ski to be playful & creative on every terrain you have the chance to ride it on. It’s exactly the goal of the Recreation: groomers, pow, touring, side hits, park – you can do it all. You simply can enjoy everything.
