Test Simply. Skis during
a Pop-up Test

I really appreciated its maneuverability on different terrains and its flex that gives it a very nice pop. Its lightness will surely be appreciated if set up for touring. For my part, I am looking forward to testing it in the park.

In Simply. lineup, it’s the equivalent of my current pair (Faction Dictator), but lighter and more aggressive for drawing beautiful turns.

Having experience with much heavier skis, I was very pleasantly surprised by the quality and responsiveness of the recreation. Every turn on the slopes became a source of play and a constant search for fun. It's a versatile ski that breaks the mold and remains highly performing in each discipline. In short: "The recreation is a FUNcreation."

Never ever have I thought I would consider buying a carver. But a few runs convinced me! Really fun to focus on curves and enjoy mellow runs and demanding ones. No matter the type of snow (or ice in my case) it's holding all the way through!

On the slopes, it is perfect for big carving and having fun. In powder, its interesting sidecut allows it to pivot easily on steep terrain and the front rocker also allows it to float in deeper snow. On mixed terrain, it loses some of its magnanimity but remains solid. One of the only negative points, in my opinion, is its flexibility. At high speeds, the ski vibrates a bit and due to the two rockers, the surface of the ski's tip in contact with the snow is reduced, which leads to a loss of stability and confidence in the ski. But overall, this ski is a small package of happiness! When you ride it, you immediately feel that you're going to have a good time :)

Beyond the unique style of the shape, the progressive spatula gives the impression of two radius of curvature. The recreation curves super fast and a new part of the turn is offered to you, due to the geometry of the front spatula. We have the impression of carrying out two styles of trajectories on the same turn! The ski is extremely light and playful. Its front spatula allows good presses, and returns powerfully in the nollies, all with a disconcerting grip. The slightly stiffer tail ensures a perfect and precise ride during switch runs. Magnificent, subtle and unadorned, the ski offers a whole new feeling of sliding. You have a real vibe under your feet: the ski, the unique shape, and the general experience. Beyond skiing, the object is magnificent. In two words, simply recreation. Thanks for this test!
