A unique membrane prevents water absorption, and the materials are tough against tears and regular wear. No hassle with nets – you can easily fold the skins together. When separated, the adhesive regains its stickiness – so you can hike up again. All our skins are meticulously assembled and tailored to fit your Simply. Skis.

Technology.
  • Safer Skin light
Safer Skin Light (SSL) is 12% lighter, meaning a reduction of 150g/m2 in weight. This results in a pair of skins being 60 to 75g lighter while still being 100% waterproof.
  • Grip
Having an excellent grip during the ascent is crucial. That’s why POMOCA has crafted a blend of materials and weaving techniques that seamlessly balance glide and durability while ensuring exceptional grip. Precise alignment and advanced hair attachment techniques make the skin highly stable in all conditions throughout its entire lifespan.
  • PFC Free
In 2015, POMOCA removed PFOA, a harmful chemical, from all its skins. They also created a PFC-free hydrophobic treatment called EVER DRY 3.0, bringing them closer to their goal of eco-friendly skins. Since 2020, all POMOCA skins are PFC-free.
Storage.
  • Before slashing down
Storage is simple – just fold the skins directly onto themselves with the adhesive sides together. No need for a net, as the adhesive will reactivate when pulled apart. If planning to go up again, keep the skins warm in your jacket for easy reapplication. To prevent fur from sticking to the glue, check your layers before storing.
  • Once at home
Keep your skins dry – It will help extend their lifespan. The only rule: Never use heat dry them, as this can damage the adhesive layers. Instead, unfold and let them dry at room temperature.
  • After the season
At the end of the season, store the skins in the provided bag in a cool, dark place. Avoid extreme moisture or dryness. You can also stick the skins together for convenience.
Tips & Tricks.

Remember to bring a small amount of tape or zip ties in case of any defects with the glue or attachment system. This is only a temporary solution to save you from walking through deep snow. A proper repair should be done at home.
